A New Pizza on the Block.

I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in inner city Chicago...The parents of kids I played with on my block would always make me sit down with them when they ate lunch or supper...Pizza was just one course on their menus...It was like an appetizer...then came the salad and the spaghetti and then the  desserts...Oh and into my teens they would let us drink some table wine...My mom always wondered why I didn't eat at home...I couldn't...I was stuffed most of the time...

So I know a little bit about pizza...and recently I lucked up and found this one...

Talk about Goooooooooooooooooooood....Momma Mia....This pizza has not only the BEST crust of any frozen pizza I've ever ate...but it has the best sauce and cheese as well...

I found it by accident a month ago in our local Food Lion store...It must have been an advertising gimmic because they were selling them at (3) for $10.00....I took 3 home with me and after savoring the first one we were licking our chops for more ... so I went back and bought 6 more...and ...now that we've only have one left...I may have to go back and buy one at full price...6.59...and if they're not on sale I'll still buy one...

Oh...didn't I mention the name...

Actually Ron, I printed this out this morning and just haven't had a chance to show it to my wife (the shopper). I think, based on your comments, that we should give it a try. It'd be nice to have a decent pizza on hand in the freezer.

Well, Ron she found it. Problem is, you showed the "Hand Tossed Style" and that wasn't in the store. I hope the thin ones are as good as what you described..

What happened to the 150 healthiest foods in the world? I just finished up Day 5 on Atkins so no crust for me. Might get it for visitors who crave some carbs. Thanks for posting. I never see your blog because I don't get it in the ole mailbox.

Dear Anonymous...

Atkins diet huh?...I lost around 40 lbs. some time ago on it...That's high protien...low carbs diet...Right?

Well hang in there...I use to give myself a day of relese on that diet...say Sunday...on Sunday I would release myself from my vows of eating right and eat anything I wanted...(in moderation of course)... Most Sundays I just stayed to the diet...but I knew if I had a craving for Pizza...I might just get me some...(in moderation of course)...

Everyone to their own diet...

Thanks for the tip! There's alot of "pretty shabby" pizza products out there and it's always good to know what to look for. Now, if I could just convince my hubby to eat pizza...
