I was writing to a friend this morning and I penned this quote,"Health is the wealth of old age". I said to myself, "That sounds pretty good...I don't think I have ever heard that line before". So I tried to look it up on the inter net and I could not find it...So...you folks who have ventured to my blog can say..."I read it here".

Thanks for your comment Alice...actually that is a breakfast of champions...It is the main ingredients for my breakfast cereal (Musili) ...I take a gallon plastic bag nd in it I mix: 4 cups of ground oats...4 cups of plain Cheerios...I cup of Almond slices...one cup of sunflower kernels and one cup of raisins
Note: chopped walnuts of pecans can be substitued for the almons...
Once they are mixed I take a cup of the mixture and add one sliced banana or one sliced peach or even some sliced dried apricots if I don't have fresh fruit available...You can eat this mixture raw of you can pour some juice or milk on it as you like...I prefer juice...
